David Hastie: CV

David Hastie has been practising as a visual artist since 1993, he creates installations, sculpture and two-dimensional work

He has had solo exhibitions at galleries both in the UK and abroad and been in many group exhibitions. In 2008 he was awarded the Gold Medal for art at the National Eisteddfod of Wales. In 2001 he was selected to represent Wales in Transforms, an international exhibition that staged the work of eight artists from across the globe at the G8 Summit On The Environment, Trieste, Italy

He has produced commissioned work for both private and public bodies including Cywaith Cymru/Artworks Wales and the National Museums & Galleries of Wales and has been selected eight times for the National Eisteddfod of Wales

Born in Carmarthen in 1967, he lives and works in Wales, UK
